Otari is cabled – patchbay is in.
Otari Powers up just fine (no warning lights, etc.)
The remote is cabled and works fine.

The digi 002 and 003 (and motu) are in the rack and cabled (in and out)
I have not tested this yet (I plan on Saturday being my “get the fucking computer working” day)

The preamps are cabled (in and out) except for 2 which need a trs plug instead of xlr.

    Still need to do:

Patch cables – as many as we can – 48 (not 24) min to patch the otari for calibration.
I need to flip the phase on the first channel of the sub inserts
Cable up the outboard gear to the patchbay
Cable the master section and Aux and FX sections to the patchbay
Cable channel line ins and inserts for tracks 25-36 (lower priority)
Get the headphone system working (I have parts and know-how now)

  2. The Kennel feels like home to me and the Sharp Things. We’ve recorded a few tunes at the studio thus far, with stellar results, and we’re breaking ground later this month on our fourth album and we couldn’t be more excited. The engineers are top-notch, the gear runs from sought-after vintage to state-of-the-art, and the overall vibe is friendly, cool and accommodating. And while the space is modest-sized, the acoustics are grand and there’s an enviable view of the Manhattan skyline.
