Culture Pirates is record + book project created by Destroy Babylon. The new single, recorded at The Kennel last March with Billy Szeflinski, has been pressed on 7” colored vinyl and packaged in the centerfold of a 7“x 7” book featuring a dozen artists’ interpretations of a Culture Pirate.
Destroy Babylon started selling the record + book at shows last Friday and it will be available online July 14.
As far as we know, this is the first physical product in any format to emerge from a Kennel session. Check it out here.

“I always expect making a record in a real studio to be a nerve-wracking experience, but Jamie and Jim at the Kennel made me feel right at home, indulging my perfectionist tendencies and caring as much as I did about making my band’s record sound good. Their enthusiasm for their work was obvious. I really looked forward to going to the studio each day, and I’m extremely happy with the results. I’d recommend the Kennel to anyone.“
