Proxy guitarist in for demos
Posted 6 December 2008, 13:53 by The Kennel
Will Hanson, guitarist for up-and-coming London-based band Proxy (their single “Jet Lag” had its UK release on Island/Universal) was in this week recording demos with Billy. The two bonded over a shared love of dub reggae (and beer) and produced six fine tracks for Will to bring back to England.
In other client news, Third Border returned for the first of a series of Billy remixes of tracks recorded with Wharton Tiers back in June; and the legendary Squirrels From Hell paid a visit to discuss an upcoming EP session, to commence in February.

I’ve recorded at the Kennel a few times now and hope to record there many more. The room and equipment are outstanding, as is the skill and experience of the engineers. It’s a super-friendly environment with people that just want you to achieve exactly what you hear in your head. The Kennel folks are always excited about your session and excited about getting the sound just right. I’m a big fan of these lovely men.
