  1. moving our organ

Posted 18 August 2008, 23:30 by The Kennel

Rich Holst and Jim carried Eric Neher’s vintage Hammond M3 organ down two flights of stairs, lifted it into Jim’s van, and drove it from Park Slope to Bushwick on the BQE.

Never has the freight elevator looked more inviting.

She needs a little TLC and a spring for the volume pedal, but otherwise works well and sounds good. In-focus photos coming soon.

  2. Recording at the Kennel was a joy. The staff helped to create a friendly, productive atmosphere. Great room, great gear, and the staff’s genuine enthusiasm for the creative process made it easy to get great results. Highly recommended! The view isn’t bad either…”
