Ben Miller of Third Border was in tonignt to sing “In One Blink,” the one song he forgot to sing last weekend. But first Andrew had to work a little Pro Tools magic, because, we discovered, the band had also forgotten to play two verses. Fun!

Afterward, we hauled a mic into the front room to record Ben smashing plywood with a hammer for “Target’s Eye.” More fun! And so apropos for a studio just weeks out of construction mode.

  2. The Kennel feels like home to me and the Sharp Things. We’ve recorded a few tunes at the studio thus far, with stellar results, and we’re breaking ground later this month on our fourth album and we couldn’t be more excited. The engineers are top-notch, the gear runs from sought-after vintage to state-of-the-art, and the overall vibe is friendly, cool and accommodating. And while the space is modest-sized, the acoustics are grand and there’s an enviable view of the Manhattan skyline.
