One of our first and most loyal clients, A Pawn’s Rebellion, has just launched a web site to promote their new album, The Empire Wears No Clothes.
A collaboration between SEK3 (vocals) and Stacia Cato (vocals, guitar, piano), the album was recorded at The Kennel and co-produced by staff engineer Billy “Prince Polo” Szeflinski, who also contributed drums and bass to the project. (Aisha Cohen and Janis Shen of The Sharp Things played strings.)
All 16 tracks are available for free download from the site, so check it out.
“What’s Your Ghost” is the first video from the album, directed by Damian John Harper:
Congratulations to our friends and clients on reaching this milestone!

I’ve recorded at the Kennel a few times now and hope to record there many more. The room and equipment are outstanding, as is the skill and experience of the engineers. It’s a super-friendly environment with people that just want you to achieve exactly what you hear in your head. The Kennel folks are always excited about your session and excited about getting the sound just right. I’m a big fan of these lovely men.
